Rapid online detection of broken rate can effectively guide maize harvest with minimal damage to prevent kernel fungal damage. The broken rate prediction model based on machine vision and machine learning algorithms is proposed in this manuscript. A new dataset of high moisture content maize kernel phenotypic features was constructed by extracting seven features (geometric and shape features).

The understanding of phenomena falling outside the Ginzburg-Landau paradigm of phase transitions represents a key challenge in condensed matter physics. A famous class of examples is constituted by the putative deconfined quantum critical points between two symmetry-broken phases in layered quantum magnets, such as pressurised SrCu(BO). Experiments find a weak first-order transition, which simulations of relevant microscopic models can reproduce.

Study Design: Single-center retrospective cohort study.
Objective: To compare the correction of fractional curve and L5 tilt in 2RVBT versus PSF with LIV in the lumbar spine.
Summary Of Background Data: Vertebral body tethering, an AIS fusion-alternative, avoids rigid constructs, allowing for lower instrumented vertebra (LIV) selection.

Background: Different species of sea cucumbers in various regions have diverse preferred habitats and feeding habits. However, detailed research on the correlation between food selection and habitat preference of sea cucumbers, as well as their adaptive adjustments to specific habitat types, is still lacking.
Methods: A field study was carried out to explore the relationship between food selection and habitat preference, as well as the adaptation process, of the tropical sea cucumber Stichopus chloronotus, which has specific food preferences.
Two new species of marine flatworms, Paraplanocera kalpeniensis sp. nov. and Pseudoceros bifascia sp.
