Objective To screen nanobodies against prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA). Methods Based on the naive phage display library, three rounds of screening were performed targeting the PSMA antigen, and positive clones were identified by ELISA and sequencing was performed. The positive cloned gene sequence was inserted into the pET28a prokaryotic expression vector and transformed into E.coli BL21. The expression of the recombinant protein was induced by IPTG and purified using Ni column, with the purified product verified by SDS-PAGE. Results Four PSMA nanobodies VHH1, VHH2, VHH3 and VHH4 were obtained by screening. The VHH1 failed to obtain protein expression, while the VHH2, VHH3 and VHH4 proteins were expressed. The purity of anti-PSMA nanobodies showed high and relative molecular mass (M) of about 17 000. Conclusion The sequence of anti-PSMA nanobody was successfully obtained by screening the naive phage nanobody library and were subjected to prokaryotic expression and purified.

Sepsis-induced acute lung injury (ALI) is a common acute and severe reason of death in the intensive care unit. Although the pathogenesis is complicated and multifactorial, elevated inflammation and oxidative stress are considered as fundamental mechanisms for the progression of ALI. Anemonin is a natural compound with diverse biological properties including anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects.

Background: Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory syndrome that can cause coagulation abnormalities, leading to damage in multiple organs. Vascular endothelial cells (VECs) are crucial in the development of sepsis-induced coagulopathy (SIC). The role of Parthenolide (PTL) in regulating SIC by protecting VECs remains unclear.

Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted positron emission tomography (PET) has improved localization of prostate cancer (PC) lesions in biochemical recurrence (BCR) for salvage radiotherapy (SRT). We conducted a retrospective review of patients undergoing F-rhPSMA-7 or F-flotufolastat (F-rhPSMA-7.3)-PET-guided SRT compared with conventional-SRT (C-SRT) without PET.

The elongation of tissues and organs is important for proper morphogenesis in animal development. In Drosophila ovaries, the elongation of egg chambers involves aligned Collagen IV fiber-like structures, a gradient of extracellular matrix stiffness and actin-based protrusion-driven collective cell migration, leading to the rotation of the egg chamber. Egg chamber elongation and rotation depend on the atypical cadherin Fat2.
