Background: This study aimed to determine the therapeutic communication skills of nursing students, examine their experiences of communication during care, and evaluate the views of patients and their relatives.
Methods: This study was designed using the convergent parallel mixed method and was conducted in Türkiye. The therapeutic communication skills of 112 nursing students were examined using the Therapeutic Communication Skills Scale.

Objective: We aimed to determine whether a pro-inflammatory dietary pattern (mechanism-based diet) is associated with incident female gout among two large cohorts of US women.
Methods: We prospectively followed 79,104 women from Nurses' Health Study (NHS; 1984-2016) and 93,454 women from NHSII (1991-2017); 45,445 men from Health Professionals Follow-up Study (1986-2016) served as a comparison cohort. Validated food frequency questionnaires were used to calculate Empirical Dietary Inflammatory Pattern (EDIP; food-based index predictive of circulating inflammatory biomarkers) scores every 4-years.

Previous literature indicates that even when teachers hold antibullying attitudes, they may fail to intervene, suggesting that self-efficacy is essential for successful intervention. This study explored the mediating role of self-efficacy in the relationship between attitudes toward bullying and intervention efforts among teachers. A cross-sectional, mediational design was used with a convenience sample of 567 Jordanian teachers teaching students aged 12 to 17.

Atherosclerosis is a complex multifactorial process that occurs in the vascular wall over many years and is responsible for a number of major diseases that affect quality of life and prognosis. A growing body of evidence supports the notion that immune mechanisms underlie atherogenesis. Macrophages are considered one of the key participants in atherogenesis, but their role in this process is multifaceted, which is largely due to the peculiarities of their cellular metabolism.
