A search for a new Z^{'} gauge boson associated with (un)broken B-L symmetry in the keV-GeV mass range is carried out for the first time using the missing-energy technique in the NA64 experiment at the CERN SPS. From the analysis of the data with 3.22×10^{11} electrons on target collected during 2016-2021 runs, no signal events were found. This allows us to derive new constraints on the Z^{'}-e coupling strength, which, for the mass range 0.3≲m_{Z^{'}}≲100  MeV, are more stringent compared to those obtained from the neutrino-electron scattering data.

The nonintegrable higher spin Kitaev honeycomb model has an exact Z_{2} gauge structure, which exclusively identifies quantum spin liquid in the half-integer spin Kitaev model. But its constraints for the integer-spin Kitaev model are much limited, and even trivially gapped insulators cannot be excluded. The physical implications of exact Z_{2} gauge structure, especially Z_{2} fluxes, in integer-spin models remain largely unexplored.

Spinless topological chirality from Umklapp scattering in twisted 3D structures.

Spinless systems exhibit unique topological characteristics compared to spinful ones, stemming from their distinct algebra. Without chiral interactions typically linked to spin, an intriguing yet unexplored interplay between topological and structural chirality may be anticipated. Here we discover spinless topological chiralities solely from structural chiralities that lie in the 3D spatial patterning of structureless units, exemplified using two types of twisted graphite systems.

We consider type IIB supergravity on a Z_{2} quotient of AdS_{5}×S^{5} as the holographic dual of strongly coupled 4D N=4 SYM on RP^{4} space with the gauging of charge conjugation. Using bootstrap techniques, we determine all two-point functions of 1/2-BPS operators of arbitrary weights at the leading order in the large central charge expansion.

: To compare intraocular lens (IOL) position and refractive outcomes between eyes that underwent sole phacoemulsification with those that underwent combined 25-gauge phacovitrectomy with a plate-haptic toric IOL implantation. : This retrospective study included 60 eyes of 60 patients. Of these, 30 eyes underwent 25-gauge phacovitrectomy, while the other 30 eyes received phacoemulsification alone.

The process in the inverted hierarchy scenario of the 2HDM type-I at the LHC.

While searching at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for the production and decay of the CP-odd scalar ( ) in the 2-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) with Natural Flavour Conservation (NFC) via the channels (through one-loop triangle diagrams) and (with GeV or GeV, with off-shell), respectively, a factorisation of the two processes is normally performed, with the state being on-shell. While this approach is gauge-invariant, it is not capturing the presence of either of the following two channels: (through one-loop triangle diagrams) or (through one-loop box diagrams). As the resolution of the mass cannot be infinitely precise, we affirm that all such contributions should be computed simultaneously, whichever the ( ) decay(splitting) products, thereby including all possible interferences amongst themselves.
