We present experimental results on the reconstruction of the 2D temperature field on the surface of a 250 × 250 mm sensor panel based on the distributed frequency shift measured by an optical backscatter reflectometer. A linear regression and a feed-forward neural network algorithm, trained by varying the temperature field and capturing thermal images of the panel, are used for the reconstruction. In this approach, we do not use any information about the exact trajectory of the fiber, material properties of the sensor panel, and a temperature sensitivity coefficient of the fiber. Mean absolute errors of 0.118 °C and 0.086 °C are achieved in the case of linear regression and feed-forward neural network, respectively.

Meeting the contemporary demand for the development of functional, biocompatible, and environment friendly self-assembled structures using efficient, cost-effective, and energy-saving methods, the field of colloids has witnessed a surge in interest. Research into cationic and anionic (catanionic) surfactant combinations has gained momentum due to their distinct advantages and synergistic properties in this context. Catanionic self-assemblies have emerged as promising contenders for addressing these requirements.

A novel metal-organic framework (MOF), (Cu-S)MOF, with a copper-sulfur planar structure was applied to photocatalytic H production application. (Cu-S)MOF@ZnS nanocomposite was synthesized using a microwave-assisted hydrothermal approach. The formation of (Cu-S)MOF and wurtzite ZnS in the composite nanoparticles was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM).

Magnetocaloric high-entropy alloys (HEAs) have recently garnered significant interest owing to their potential applications in magnetic refrigeration, offering a wide working temperature range and large refrigerant capacity. In this study, we thoroughly investigated the structural, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of equiatomic GdDyHoErTm HEAs. The as-cast alloy exhibits a single hexagonal phase, a randomly distributed grain orientation, and complex magnetism.

This paper purposed to prepare poly (lactic acid)/continuous cotton thread (PLA /CCT) filaments by using prepreg method, and investigated the properties of PLA/CCT filament and their 3D printed composites. Firstly, a prepreg device was home-made to immerse CCT with PLA melts. The effects of the dragging speed and tensioning equipment on the quality of PLA/CCT filament was investigated.

A three-dimensional numerical model of the vacuum sintering furnace was established, combined with the custom program of temperature-voltage feedback regulation. Through simulationand experimental validation, the heating and holding stage as well as the thermal hysteresis phenomenon of the furnace were analyzed, a dimensionless quantity of hysteresis temperature difference was proposed and calculated, the distribution of the electric field and temperature uniformity of the furnace were discussed in detail, while the structural improvement approach was proposed based on simulation. The results show that: during the heating process, the maximum of thermal hysteresis temperature difference between the graphite cylinder and the heating tube is 0.
