Sixteen Escherichia coli isolates were obtained from fecal matter from a beef farm in Puerto Rico. Isolates were whole-genome sequenced for characterization, including pathotype characterization, virulence, and plasmid identification. The results of the draft genomes identified potential pathogenic E. coli strains from beef cattle in Puerto Rico.
