Case: A 60-year-old right-hand-dominant woman experienced progressive enlargement of a mass over the index distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint over 5 years, leading to joint destruction and swan neck deformity. Radiography showed arthritis, erosion, and calcific deposition. Surgical intervention included mass excision, synovectomy, and DIP joint arthrodesis.

The study analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics, evolution rules, and driving factors of 138 China's national agricultural cultural heritage sites from 2013 to 2021 at the overall and regional levels, using kernel density analysis, Centres for standard deviation ellipse analyses, spatial autocorrelation analysis, and geographical detector analysis. The results showed that: ①From an overall perspective, the spatial pattern of China's national agricultural cultural heritage changed greatly from 2013 to 2021, with a highly uneven spatial distribution, gradually showing a distribution pattern of "widely distributed, locally concentrated". The spatial distribution of China's national agricultural cultural heritage is increasingly evident, and the spatial distribution type has evolved from discrete to clustered.

Background: To date, few data to transcranial Doppler sonography (TCD) are available in patients with mild vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) at risk for vascular or mixed dementia. In a previous study in patients with mild VCI and cerebral small vessels disease, a hemodynamic pattern of cerebral hypoperfusion and enhanced vascular resistance were observed; however, longitudinal data are currently lacking. Here, we perform a clinical, psychopathological, and neurosonological follow-up of patients with VCI in order to monitor any progression and to identify TCD measures to detect it.

Data regarding Penicillin allergy labels (PALs) from India and Sri Lanka are sparse. Emerging data suggests that the proportion of patients declaring an unverified PAL in secondary care in India and Sri Lanka (1%-4%) is lesser than that reported in High Income Countries (15%-20%). However, even this relatively small percentage translates into a large absolute number, as this part of the world accounts for approximately 25% of the global population.

Pyroptosis, a form of programmed cell death characterized by cell lysis and inflammation, has significant implications for disease treatment. Nanomaterials (NMs), with their unique physicochemical properties, can precisely modulate pyroptosis, offering novel and intelligent therapeutic strategies for cancer, infectious diseases, and chronic inflammatory conditions with targeted activation and reduced systemic toxicity. This review explores the mechanisms by which NMs regulate pyroptosis, comparing molecular and NM inducers, and examines the role of intrinsic properties such as size, shape, surface charge, and chemical composition in these processes.
