• Mucinous tumors of the ovary are epithelial tumors. They are classified into benign, borderline and malignant tumors. • Vaginal pelvic ultrasound is the imaging test of first choice. • Conservative treatment, detorsion of the adnexa without adnexectomy, is recommended in non-menopausal women. • The knowledge of clinical and histological characters will allow a better diagnostic andtherapeutic approach.

Objectives: To improve preoperative diagnostic accuracy of struma ovarii by retrospectively reviewing magnetic resonance (MR) findings. It is beneficial to choose the most appropriate surgical modality for the patient.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the clinical course and MR characteristics of 52 patients who were diagnosed postoperatively with struma ovarii, pathologically, from two institutions.

An asymptomatic 79-year old woman presented with a 40 mm pancreatic cystic lesion, located in the pancreatic body-tail and consistent with branch-duct intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (BD-IPMN) without "high risk stigmata". During a 4-year follow-up period, imaging showed no mural nodules or main pancreatic duct dilation, and serum CEA and CA19.9 were within normal range.

Objective: We aimed to explore the abnormal pathology findings in appendix specimens removed based on intraoperative abnormal appearance during elective surgery for benign gynaecological conditions by a minimally invasive gynaecologist, as well as the associated complication rate.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted in a tertiary referral surgical centre for benign gynaecological conditions between the years 2004-2023. It included patients who underwent appendicectomy by a trained minimally invasive gynaecologist based on observations during surgery for benign gynaecological conditions.
Introduction: Primary mucinous cystadenoma is a very rare lesion in the spleen, with only a few reported cases available in the literature. Ectopic pancreatic or enteric tissue and invaginated splenic capsular epithelium are assumed to be the origin of mucinous cystadenomas of the spleen. We present the first reported case in Ethiopia.
