The conservation of an axial current modified by the gravitational chiral anomaly implies the universal transport phenomenon (kinematical vortical effect) dependent solely on medium vorticity and acceleration, but not dependent explicitly on its temperature and density. This general analysis is verified for the case of massless fermions with spin-1/2.

Superconducting spintronics explores the interplay between superconductivity and magnetism, sparking substantial interest in nonunitary superconductors as a platform for magneto-superconducting phenomena. However, identifying nonunitary superconductors remains challenging. We demonstrate that spin current driven by thermal gradients sensitively probes the nature of the condensate in nonunitary superconductors.

ConspectusTwo-dimensional (2D) molecular materials, in which the major interactions are confined in 2D planes with contrasted force fields acting in between the planes, have been key electronic functional materials since the past decade. Even without referring to the functionals of graphene-based systems, 2D electronic conjugated systems are expected to show extrawide dynamic ranges in electronic density of states (DOS) tuning, effective electron mass, electron mobility, and conductivity. A major advantage of 2D electronic systems is their compatibility with the ubiquitous electronic devices designed using planar structures, such as transistors and memories, which is associated with the utility of 2D active materials.

The ALICE Collaboration reports the measurement of semi-inclusive distributions of charged-particle jets recoiling from a high transverse momentum (high p_{T}) hadron trigger in proton-proton and central Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV. A data-driven statistical method is used to mitigate the large uncorrelated background in central Pb-Pb collisions.
