In this retrospective cohort of adult hematology-oncology and transplant patients, discontinuation of universal gloving did not result in significant changes in rates of central line-associated bloodstream infection, Clostridioides difficile infection, or vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus colonization. Active surveillance and subsequent isolation may be a viable alternative strategy to universal precautions.

Reusing test cases across apps that share similar functionalities reduces both the effort required to produce useful test cases and the time to offer reliable apps to the market. The main approaches to reuse test cases across apps combine different semantic matching and test generation algorithms to migrate test cases across Android apps. In this paper we define a general framework to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of different choices of semantic matching with Test Reuse approaches on migrating test cases across Android apps.

Background: Universal gloving by health care workers (HCW) for all patient care activities (beyond isolation and standard precautions) has been proposed to reduce health care-associated infection transmission, but patient perceptions of this approach are unclear. We interviewed patients who experienced a universal gloving intervention by HCW within Veterans Affairs inpatient acute care units to understand their perceptions of universal gloving.
Methods: We conducted interviews with 15 patients across 5 Veterans Affairs hospitals.

Unlabelled: Bacground and purpose: Today, the unwanted contamination of the composite surface with latex gloves during tooth restoration is one of the common problems in restorative dentistry. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of resin composite contamination with latex gloves containing corn powder on the strength of the shear bond to bovine dentin during the fifth and seventh generations of the bonding system.
Materials And Methods: This case-control study was conducted on 90 cow teeth without caries or lesions.

Capturing forceful interaction with deformable objects during manipulation benefits applications like virtual reality, telemedicine, and robotics. Replicating full hand-object states with complete geometry is challenging because of the occluded object deformations. Here, we report a visual-tactile recording and tracking system for manipulation featuring a stretchable tactile glove with 1152 force-sensing channels and a visual-tactile joint learning framework to estimate dynamic hand-object states during manipulation.
