Anti-myelin-associated glycoprotein (Anti-MAG) neuropathy and autoimmune nodopathies with antibodies targeting nodal or paranodal proteins have recently been reclassified as distinct conditions, separate from chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). This distinction is based on the clinical homogeneity observed in antibody-positive cases, their unique response to treatment compared to CIDP, and evidence indicating the pathogenic role of these autoantibodies. The significance of identifying conditions outside the CIDP category lies in the elucidation of their distinct pathological mechanisms and providing appropriate immunotherapy accordingly.

This study explores a novel therapeutic strategy for relapsed/refractory (R/R) Burkitt lymphoma (BL) by integrating autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (ASCT) with tandem anti-CD19/CD22 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. A 20-year-old Asian male with refractory BL, whose lymphoma had not responded to multiple chemoimmunotherapy regimens, received myeloablative ASCT followed three days later by infusion of a novel third-generation CAR T cells engineered with CD28 and CD3ζ signaling domains, along with a TLR2 costimulatory domain. This resulted in sustained complete remission at the 306-day follow-up, without experiencing any severe complications.

Objectives: Previous studies have reported the expansion of CD19+Siglec-10+ B cells in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients. However, the composition of this cell population, phenotype and characteristics are still unknown.
Methods: We examined this memory B-cell subset's composition and phenotype and determined the SYK and AKT phosphorylation levels by flow cytometry.

Cell surface complex carbohydrates, known as glycans, are positioned to be the first point of contact between two cells. Indeed, interactions between glycans with glycan-binding can modulate cell-cell interactions. This concept is particularly relevant for immune cells, which use an array of glycan-binding proteins to help in the process of differentiating 'self' from 'non-self'.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive cognitive decline. Genetic factors have been implicated in disease susceptibility as its etiology remains multifactorial. The and the genes, involved in immune responses, have emerged as potential candidates influencing AD risk.
