Acquired nasolacrimal duct obstruction may result from chronic infection, lacrimal stones, anatomical variations such as aberrant ethmoid cells, facial fractures, or complications following nasal surgery. In Korea, there has been no reported case of secondary nasolacrimal duct obstruction due to a retention cyst in the lacrimal sac. Recently, the authors encountered a 65-year-old female patient who presented with epiphora, was diagnosed with a lacrimal sac retention cyst, and was successfully treated with endoscopic marsupialization.

Introduction: Congenital dacryocystoceles are a rare condition caused by nasolacrimal duct obstruction. Symptoms include epiphora, nasal obstruction, and swelling in the medial canthus. Treatment usually entails probing Hasner's valve open and, if necessary, intubating the nasolacrimal duct.

Congenital saccular cyst of the larynx is a rare cause of presentation of stridor and respiratory distress in newborns. The clinical presentation of a saccular laryngeal cyst often overlaps with other common causes of stridor, such as laryngomalacia, presenting a diagnostic dilemma for clinicians. We present a case of a term newborn infant referred for evaluation of inspiratory stridor since birth.

Nasopharyngeal cysts are rare benign entity, smaller in size and usually asymptomatic. They are mostly diagnosed incidentally on MRI. Larger cysts commonly presents with spasmodic and obstructive symptoms.
