A simple and novel method for the deposition of polypyrrole (PPy) and cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) composites on different fiber substrates by reactive ink-jet printing was proposed. PPy/CNCs composites were successfully prepared, and the surface resistance of conductive layer deposited on different fiber substrates is the least when the monomer concentration is 0.6 M. PPy/CNCs were deposited on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to form a conductive layer by adding polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and the optimum sintering temperature is 100 °C (monomer/PVA ratio 4.0, conductivity 0.769 S cm). The PPy/CNCs conductive layer deposited on the paper has the lowest surface resistance and the best adhesion, and the surface resistance of PPy/CNCs conductive layer decreases first and then increases with the increase of sulfonate concentration. Moreover, the volume of anion in sulfonate will affect the arrangement and aggregation of PPy molecular chain in composite materials. Appropriate sulfonate doping can improve the conductivity and stability of conductive paper, and the maximum conductivity is 0.813 S cm. Three devices based on PPy/CNCs conductive paper were proposed and fabricated. Therefore, this ink-jet printing provides a new method for the preparation of conductive materials, sensors, energy storage and electromagnetic shielding, etc.

Chlorophyll density (ChD) can reflect the photosynthetic capacity of the winter wheat population, therefore achieving real-time non-destructive monitoring of ChD in winter wheat is of great significance for evaluating the growth status of winter wheat. Derivative preprocessing has a wide range of applications in the hyperspectral monitoring of winter wheat chlorophyll. In order to research the role of fractional-order derivative (FOD) in the hyperspectral monitoring model of ChD, this study based on an irrigation experiment of winter wheat to obtain ChD and canopy hyperspectral reflectance.

Mowing is a primary practice in temperate meadows, which are severely degraded due to frequent mowing, overgrazing, and other factors, necessitating restoration and sustainable management. The natural recovery of these grasslands hinges on their germinable soil seed banks, which form the basis for future productivity. Thus, germinable soil seed banks are critical for restoring overexploited meadows.

This study presents an innovative glucose detection platform, featuring a highly sensitive, non-enzymatic glucose sensor. The sensor integrates nickel nanowires and a graphene thin film deposited on the gate region of an extended-gate electric double-layer field-effect transistor (EGEDL-FET). This unique combination of materials and device structure enables superior glucose sensing performance.

This study investigates the significance of single-walled (SWCNTs) and multi-walled (MWCNTs) carbon nanotubes with a convectional fluid (water) over a vertical cone under the influences of chemical reaction, magnetic field, thermal radiation and saturated porous media. The impact of heat sources is also examined. Based on the flow assumptions, the fundamental flow equations are modeled as partial differential equations (PDEs).

Metamaterials hold great promise for application in the field of perfect absorbers due to their remarkable ability to manipulate electromagnetic waves. In this work, a full-spectrum ultra-wideband solar absorber with a multilayer metal-dielectric stacked structure is designed. Our absorber is simple and easy to manufacture, with Ti serving as the substrate, overlaid with SiN spacer layers and four pairs of Ti-SiN ring columns.
