India launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in 2021 to strengthen the digital health ecosystem by developing and integrating health data records and registries. We apply the health system control knob framework to assess the progress of ABDM by analyzing five indicators. Data from the ABDM dashboard reveal notable progress in beneficiary registration (400 million, as of June 3, 2023) and health records linkage (273 million).

This study analyzed the geographic variation in annual Medicare reimbursement changes for common burn surgery procedures from 2011 to 2022 to clarify trends in reimbursement. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Physician fee schedule database was analyzed to find state-by-state reimbursement rates for the most common burn surgery procedures. Physician reimbursement was adjusted for inflation utilizing the consumer price index.

The Vision Zero-Safe Systems Approach prioritizes fast access to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to improve the survivability of road users in transportation crashes, especially concerning the recent increase in pedestrian-involved crashes. Pedestrian crashes resulting in immediate or early death are considerably more severe than those taking longer. The time gap between injury and fatality is known as survival time, and it heavily relies on EMS response time.
