Objective: To conduct a review of actions proposed by French health care providers to promote the installation of general practitioners.

Method: Descriptive study among health actors in mainland France included website browsing, sending emails and phone calls with standardized questionnaire on the actions carried out to promote installation of general practitioners.

Results: 313 agencies were approached and 192 replied. 139 proposed at least one action grouped under 4 types: actions aimed at initial training, replacements, doctors with foreign diplomas or retired, communication with doctors or conditions of exercise.

Conclusion: An action list has been created allowing institutions to promote the installation of general practitioners in the territories, building on those already achieved elsewhere. The evaluation of these actions could be relevant in order to promote the most useful in terms of cost/benefit.

The functionalized polycycle with densely contiguous tertiary stereocenters is a formidable challenge in synthesizing the parvistemoline family of Stemona alkaloids. We herein report their catalytic, asymmetric total syntheses in 13-14 steps from commercially available 2-(methoxycarbonyl)-pyrrole, featuring the development and deployment of an Ir/Pd-synergistically-catalyzed allylation of α-non-substituted keto esters with secondary aryl-substituted alcohols, stereodivergently accessible to four stereoisomers. Using chiral Pd-enolate and Ir π-allyl complex under neutral conditions, no epimerization occurs.

Commercial grease interceptors (GIs), commonly used in food service establishments, are primarily designed to treat fat, oil and grease (FOG) from handwash sink (HS) wastewater. They are generally less effective for removing highly concentrated FOG from dishwasher (DW) effluents which contain highly emulsified FOG with complex long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs). Furthermore, standard testing of GIs uses diesel fuel to simulate FOG separation; however, the flow properties of typical cooking oils and animal fats differ significantly from diesel.
