Owing to the rapid development of wireless communication, radar and pulse power technology, the electromagnetic environment faced by electronic systems is increasingly complex and the intensity of electromagnetic field can be significant. In this study, a new interference phenomenon was observed when the microwave pulses were injected into the gallium nitride (GaN) high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) power amplifier through the output port. We investigated the relationship between the peak power of reverse injection microwave pulses and the duration or the amplitude of the interference by effect experiments. The interference duration could reach the magnitude of millisecond. Deep traps in GaN HEMT power amplifiers are proved to be the cause of this interference effects.

Space division multiplexing (SDM) with Hermite Gaussian (HG) modes, for instance, can significantly boost the transmission link capacity. However, SDM is not suitable in existing single mode fiber networks, and in long-distance wireless, microwave, THz or optical links, the far-field beam distribution may present a problem. Recently it has been demonstrated, that time domain HG modes can be employed to enhance the link capacity.

Introducing an experimental technique of time-resolved inelastic neutron scattering (TRINS), we explore the time-dependent effects of resonant pulsed microwaves on the molecular magnet CrFPiv. The octagonal rings of magnetic Cr atoms with antiferromagnetic interactions form a singlet ground state with a weakly split triplet of excitations at 0.8 meV.

For the first time, rotational constants along with centrifugal distortion constants have been determined for OThS and OCeS. The rotational spectra of these molecules and, in each case, one other isotopologue (OThS and OCeS) were produced utilizing a laser ablation sourcing technique incorporated into a chirped-pulse Fourier transform microwave spectrometer operating in the 8 to 18 GHz region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The bent structures determined are in very good agreement with theoretical calculations.

Time-reversal symmetry breaking of a topological insulator phase generates zero-field edge modes which are the hallmark of the quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) and of possible value for dissipation-free switching or non-reciprocal microwave devices. But present material systems exhibiting the QAHE, such as magnetically doped bismuth telluride and twisted bilayer graphene, are intrinsically unstable, limiting their scalability. A pristine magnetic oxide at the surface of a TI would leave the TI structure intact and stabilize the TI surface, but epitaxy of an oxide on the lower-melting-point chalcogenide presents a particular challenge.

Lung cancer continues to be the second most common cancer diagnosed and the main cause of cancer-related death globally, which requires novel and effective treatment strategies. When considering treatment options, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remained a challenge, seeking new therapeutic strategies High-power microwave (HPM) progressions have facilitated the advancement of new technologies as well as improvements to those already in use. The impact of HPM on NSCLC has not been investigated before.
