A large portion of the Intrinsically Disordered Regions (IDRs) in protein sequences interact with proteins, nucleic acids, and other types of ligands. Correspondingly, dozens of sequence-based predictors of binding IDRs were developed. A recently completed second community-based Critical Assessments of protein Intrinsic Disorder prediction (CAID2) evaluated 32 predictors of binding IDRs.

Background: Colorectal polyps are commonly observed in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and pose a significant clinical concern because of their potential for malignancy.
Aim: To explore the clinical characteristics of colorectal polyps in patients with CLD, a nomogram was established to predict the presence of adenomatous polyps (AP).
Methods: Patients with CLD who underwent colonoscopy at Tianjin Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to May 2023 were evaluated.

Introduction: The reasonable and efficient utilization of agricultural by-products as animal feed has the capacity to not only mitigate the scarcity of conventional feedstuff but also alleviate the environmental load. This study was aimed to investigate the effects of feeding citrus pomace (CP) fermented with combined probiotics on growth performance, carcass traits, meat quality and antioxidant capacity in yellow-feathered broilers.
Methods: A cohort of 540 female yellow-feathered broilers (Qingyuan partridge chicken, 90-day-old) were randomly divided into three groups and, respectively, fed the basal diet (Control), diet containing 10% unfermented CP (UFCP) and diet containing 10% fermented CP (FCP).

Introduction: The success of flu vaccination depends primarily on the willingness of health care workers (HCWs) to be vaccinated. To identify barriers and drivers to vaccination, an online survey among employees and students of a university hospital was performed to develop a local strategy to increase the vaccination willingness in line with the WHO recommendation.
Method: A cross-sectional, anonymous, self-administered online survey was performed among HCWs, other staff, trainees and students of the Greifswald University Hospital between 17.

The evolution of bifunctional catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts that are highly active, stable, and conductive is crucial for advancing metal-air batteries and fuel cells. We have here thoroughly explored the OER and ORR performance for a category of two-dimensional (2D) metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) called TM(HADQ), and Rh(HADQ) exhibits a promising bifunctional OER/ORR activity, with an overpotential of 0.31 V for both OER and ORR.
