An environmentally sustainable and proficient method is reported for the synthesis of medicinally important pyrazolo[1,2-b] phthalazine dione derivatives by aqueous micellar medium catalysed by FeO NPs. Dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylate with isocyanides in the presence of phthalhydrazide is used as starting material. The main advantages of this protocol are the availability of starting materials, short reaction times, green solvents and practical simplicity.

This research focuses on the development of a novel Ru-doped TiO/grapefruit peel biochar/FeO (Ru-TiO/PC/FeO) composite catalyst, which exhibits exceptional photocatalytic efficacy under simulated solar light irradiation. The catalyst is highly effective in the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB), methylene blue (MB), methyl orange (MO), as well as actual industrial dye wastewater (IDW), and can be recovered magnetically for multiple reuse cycles. Significantly, the PCTRF-100 sample exhibited degradation efficiencies of 99.

Chemical amination of the enzyme was demonstrated to favor immobilization onto polydopamine (PDA)-coated magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) for the first time, to the best of the author's knowledge. MNPs prepared via hydrothermal synthesis were coated with PDA for the immobilization of naringinase. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy showed that the MNPs were composed mainly of FeO with an average size of 38.

Herein, a mesoporous magnetic chitosan-salicylaldehyde/calcium oxide nanoparticle (CS-SL/CaO/FeO) biocomposite adsorbent that was prepared via freeze-drying. The CS-SL/CaO/FeO was utilized for the adsorption of ramazol brilliant blue (RBB) dye from aqueous solution. The physicochemical properties of the CS-SL/CaO/FeO were evaluated using diverse characterization techniques, including BET, XRD, FTIR, FESEM-EDX, CHNS, and pH.

This work presents a room-temperature (RT) NO gas sensor based on cotton-modified LaFeO (CLFO) combined with MXene. LaFeO (LFO), CLFO, and CLFO/MXene composites were synthesized via a hydrothermal method. The fabricated sensor, utilizing MXene/CLFO, exhibits a p-type behavior and fully recoverable sensing capabilities for low concentrations of NO, achieving a higher response of 14.
