Purpose: To investigate changes in fluid reservoir turbidity parameters over time and its influence on visual performance in eyes with ocular surface disorders (OSD) wearing scleral contact lenses (SL).
Methods: Thirteen eyes with OSD were assessed for corrected distance visual acuity, contrast sensitivity (CS) and fluid reservoir turbidity using anterior segment optical coherence tomography at baseline, after 5 min and 0.5, 1, 2, 3 and 4 h of SL wear on day 1 and after 1 month.

This study details two cases of traumatic cataracts with a history of blunt trauma. Both presented with progressive vision loss, mydriasis, and zonular dialysis. The surgical intervention involved complete cataractous lens removal, anterior vitrectomy, iris cerclage with 10-0 prolene sutures, and retropupillary iris-claw lens fixation.

Introduction: Relactation is the process of re-establishing breastfeeding after stopping or after a period of little breastfeeding. The study aimed to assess the Relactation Supportive Program (RSP)'s efficacy in sustaining breastfeeding and to determine the impact of RSP on breastfeeding initiation, timing, and correlation with the lactation gap.
Methods: A prospective observational study was done with 60 infant-mother dyads, aged seven days to 14 weeks who stopped breastfeeding for 6-28 days or never breastfed.

Background: Alterations in cellular metabolism affect cancer survival and can manifest in metrics of body composition. We investigated the effects of various body composition metrics on survival in patients with glioblastoma (GBM).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed patients who had an abdominal and pelvic computed tomography (CT) scan performed within 1 month of diagnosis of GBM (178 participants, 102 males, 76 females, median age: 62.

Background: Computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) is frequently performed in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) and may aid non-invasive estimation of pulmonary hemodynamics. We, therefore, investigated automated volumetry of intrapulmonary vasculature on CTPA, separated into core and peel fractions of the lung volume and its potential to differentially reflect pulmonary hemodynamics in patients with pre- and postcapillary PH.
Methods: A retrospective case-control study of 72 consecutive patients with PH according to the 2022 joint guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology and the European Respiratory Society who underwent right heart catheterization (RHC) and CTPA within 7 days between August 2013 and February 2016 at Thoraxklinik at Heidelberg University Hospital (Heidelberg, Germany) was conducted.
