The treatment planning for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) relies predominantly on tumor burden, clinical performance, and liver function test results. Curative treatments such as resection, liver transplantation, and ablative therapies of small lesions should be considered for all patients with HCC. However, many patients are ineligible for these treatments owing to advanced disease stage and comorbidities. Despite efforts to increase screening, early-stage HCC remains difficult to diagnose, which decreases the possibility of curative therapies. In this context, local-regional treatment of HCC is accepted as a form of curative therapy in selected patients with early-stage disease, as a therapeutic option in patients who are not eligible to undergo curative therapies, as a downstaging approach to decrease tumor size toward meeting the criteria for liver transplantation, and as a bridging therapy to avoid tumor growth while the patient is on the waiting list for liver transplantation. The authors review the indications, types, mechanism of action, and possible complications of local-regional treatment, as well as the expected postprocedural imaging features of HCC. Furthermore, they discuss the role of imaging in pre- and postprocedural settings, provide guidance on how to assess treatment response, and review the current limitations of imaging assessment. Finally, the authors summarize the potential future directions with imaging tools that may add value to contemporary practice at response assessment and imaging biomarkers for patient selection, treatment response, and prognosis. Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of 25Gy/5# prophylactic pelvic nodal irradiation for regional control during stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT) for high risk prostate cancer.
Methods: The multinational XXXX consortium database of patients treated with curative-intent prostate SBRT for high risk prostate cancer was queried for prophylactic radiotherapy 25Gy/5# to the pelvic lymph nodes. Details of Phoenix-defined biochemical failure, and location of recurrence (local, regional, or distant) were extracted.

Background: De-intensification of anti-cancer therapy without significantly affecting outcomes is an important goal. Omission of axillary surgery or breast radiation is considered a reasonable option in elderly patients with early-stage breast cancer and good prognostic factors. Data on avoidance of both axillary surgery and radiation therapy (RT) is scarce and inconclusive.

Objectives: To address controversies regarding target volume delineation for adjuvant intensity-modulated radiation therapy for oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma with pedicled flap reconstruction and elective nodal irradiation (ENI).
Materials And Methods: During target volume delineation, the primary tumor bed was the pre-surgical gross tumor volume with an additional isotropic margin of 5-10 mm. Additionally, the flap and body tissue junction were given a margin of 5-10 mm (if not already given).

Background: Cancer has become the leading cause of death among individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2D) in high-income countries. T2D is suggested to directly influence cancer progression. However, the association between T2D and melanoma stage at diagnosis remains uncertain, as well as any potential sex disparities.

Background: To evaluate the efficacy of local-regional radiotherapy (LRRT) in de novo metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (dm NPC) patients receiving chemo-immunotherapy as first-line treatment and select the beneficiaries from LRRT.
Methods And Materials: M1-NPC patients receiving platinum-based chemo-immunotherapy with or without LRRT from four centers were included in this study. The propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was employed to balance the baseline characteristics between the LRRT and non-LRRT groups.
