In this work, we address the question of how to enhance signal-agnostic searches by leveraging multiple testing strategies. Specifically, we consider hypothesis tests relying on machine learning, where model selection can introduce a bias towards specific families of new physics signals. Focusing on the New Physics Learning Machine, a methodology to perform a signal-agnostic likelihood-ratio test, we explore a number of approaches to multiple testing, such as combining -values and aggregating test statistics.

There have been a wide variety of recent advances in statistical methods for analyzing mixtures data, with most of these methods having open-source software for implementation. However, there is no one-size-fits-all method for analyzing mixtures data given the considerable heterogeneity in scientific focus and study design.

In 2022, a community-academic collaborative team published 5 key recommendations for developing a national action plan to advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of women living with HIV in Canada. In 2023, a national gathering was convened to strategize implementation of the recommendations across policy, practice, and research settings. Discussions highlighted that meaningful engagement of women living with HIV (recommendation 1) is foundational to implementing the other recommendations.

Introduction: Sexual health, pleasure, justice (equity in sexual rights and experiences), and well-being are crucial determinants of health and life quality, yet often overlooked in the rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMD) field. However, this topic has received more attention recently, and there is a need to map the current literature to inform the direction of future studies. Hence, this protocol outlines a scoping review to systematically map existing evidence on sexual health in people with RMD, exploring key themes and identifying evidence gaps across multiple dimensions, including sexual well-being, justice and pleasure.

In recent years, novel small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), and other pathways have been developed, effectively penetrating the blood-brain barrier while enhancing intracranial drug concentrations and improving patient outcomes.
