Light-driven molecular rotary motors are nanometric machines able to convert light into unidirectional motions. Several types of molecular motors have been developed to better respond to light stimuli, opening new avenues for developing smart materials ranging from nanomedicine to robotics. They have great importance in the scientific research across various disciplines, but a detailed comprehension of the underlying ultrafast photophysics immediately after photo-excitation, that is, Franck-Condon region characterization, is not fully achieved yet.

This perspective discusses the critical role of laboratory assessments in assessing factor VIII (FVIII) inhibitors. These are auto- and alloantibodies that can develop against both endogenous and exogenous FVIII, respectively. Assessment for inhibitors represents a key part of the management of both congenital hemophilia A (CHA), an inherited deficiency, and acquired hemophilia A (AHA), an autoimmune condition.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG), especially at high molecular weights, is highly soluble in water, and these solutions have reduced water potential. It is convenient to use PEG in hydroponics (liquid nutrient solution) for experiments with plants. However, some authors have been found to describe the application of PEG to plants incorrectly, such as drought, dehydration, osmotic, or water stresses, which can mislead readers.

Background: Deep learning (DL) has set new standards in cancer diagnosis, significantly enhancing the accuracy of automated classification of whole slide images (WSIs) derived from biopsied tissue samples. To enable DL models to process these large images, WSIs are typically divided into thousands of smaller tiles, each containing 10-50 cells. Multiple Instance Learning (MIL) is a commonly used approach, where WSIs are treated as bags comprising numerous tiles (instances) and only bag-level labels are provided during training.
