Purpose: To survey the materials favored by dentists for intraoral repair of cohesive chipping.
Materials And Methods: From August 2019 to February 2020, dentists were surveyed to determine the frequency of cohesive chipping experienced within the last 3 months and to identify their preferred approaches for intraoral repair.
Results: Of the participants, 42.5% observed chipping (n = 506). Participants favored the application of roughening devices, silane, and composite resins. Self-etching glass-ceramic primers or hydrofluoric acid were used for ceramic etching.
Conclusion: Dentists apply a variety of materials for intraoral repair of chipping, including materials that are not approved for intraoral use. Int J Prosthodont 2023;36:216-218. doi: 10.11607/ijp.7098.

Background: There are different intraoral appliances for cessation of thumb/finger sucking habit, but they have many disadvantages and to overcome it, extra oral appliances with colourful and attractive shape were developed. Electronic habit reminder in the form of wristwatch with alarming sound was assessed in cessation of thumb/finger sucking habit in children versus palatal crib after 6 and 9 months.
Methods: This study is a randomized clinical pilot study, with allocation ratio 1:1 parallel group.

Objectives: To compare the mechanical performance of partially replaced (repaired) intra-coronal restorations to totally replaced ones in root canal-treated teeth.
Methods: Thirty maxillary second premolars were selected according to strict criteria, mounted on moulds, and had mesio-occluso-distal (MOD) cavities prepared. Resin composite restorative material was used to perform the initial restoration, followed by aging procedures using thermo-mechanical cycling fatigue to replicate six months of intraoral aging.

A pseudoaneurysm is an abnormal dilatation within the wall of a blood vessel due to the formation of a hematoma in the vessel wall after vessel injury. Because of the protective nature of the facial skeleton and the deep location of the lingual artery, the lingual artery pseudoaneurysm is rare. The authors report a case of a 20-year-old male who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including to the mouth, presenting with immediate life-threatening injuries.

Additionally, surfaces of lithium disilicate ceramic were examined for precipitates after the etching and neutralizing process.
Materials And Methods: The HF permeability of the following isolation agents (n=8) was investigated by positioning them over pH indicator paper under airtight conditions and applying 9% HF: latex rubber dam; elastic plastomer rubber dam; nitrile gloves; latex gloves; liquid rubber dam; Teflon; AZ strip.

Aim: This research aims to evaluate and compare the effect of various surface treatments and adhesive types on the bond strength between composite resin and two types of ceramic materials.
Materials And Methods: A total of 98 disk-shaped of 10 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness were fabricated for each of the zirconia (H. C.
