Purpose: CBCT-based online adaptive radiation therapy is carried out using a synthetic CT, sCT, created through deformable registration between the patient-specific fan-beam CT, FBCT, and daily CBCT. Ethos 2.0 allows for plan calculation directly on HyperSight CBCT and uses AI-informed tools for daily contouring without the use of a priori information.

Cassava is a crucial source of daily calorie intake for millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) but has an inferior protein content. Despite numerous attempts utilizing both traditional and biotechnological methods, efforts to address protein deficiency in cassava have yet to meet with much success. We aim to leverage modern biotechnologies to enhance cassava's nutritional value by creating bioengineered cassava cultivars with increased protein and starch content.

As society ages, improving the health of the elderly through effective training programs has become a pressing issue. Virtual reality (VR) technology, with its immersive experience, is increasingly being utilized as a vital tool in rehabilitation training for the elderly. To further enhance training outcomes and improve health conditions among the elderly, this work proposes an integrated model that combines the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), Variational Autoencoder (VAE), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network.

Background: African elephants can convert woodland to shrubland or grassland. Moderate conversion observed at low elephant densities may improve conditions for other animals, while extensive transformation at high densities may reduce plant and animal diversity. The threshold density separating facilitation from habitat destruction varies spatially and is partly determined by food choice, which differs between adult bulls and members of breeding herds.

Objective: This study compared the Omron Active style Pro HJA-750C (OM) and the ActiGraph wGT3X-BT (AG) in estimating daily physical activity-step counts and time spent in moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA)-in free-living adults.
Methods: Japanese adults without gait abnormalities wore both devices during waking hours for seven consecutive days. Data were aggregated into daily steps and MVPA.
