In this paper, is described as a new species based on morphological and molecular analyses, and its taxonomic relationships are discussed. Morphological analysis indicates should be classified in the genus Sedumsect.Sedum and is distinct from the related species and in the morphology of its solitary, light green and smooth stems, flattened leaves, larger, obovate and spurless sepals, yellow anthers, 22-30 ovules per carpel, oblique follicles, and its habitat on shaded slopes or rocks.

Harmful algal blooms (HABs) represent a significant global marine ecological disaster. In the Yellow Sea, green and golden tides often occur simultaneously or sequentially, suggesting that interspecific competition involves not only spatial and resource competition but also allelopathy. This study investigated the allelopathic interactions between and using physiological and biochemical parameters, including relative growth rate (RGR), cell ultrastructure, chlorophyll fluorescence, enzyme activity, and metabolomics analysis.

The increase in industrialization has led to a significant energy crisis, sparking interest in lignocellulosic biomass for fuel ethanol production because of its renewable characteristics. The complex composition of this biomass requires pretreatment to reduce inhibitors like furfural and hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), which hinder enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation, ultimately decreasing ethanol yields. This study investigates the detoxification mechanisms of furan aldehydes in Scheffersomyces stipitis, particularly through the upregulation of genes SsOYE2.

Unlabelled: A total of 151 genotypes of durum and bread wheat exhibiting symptoms of stunting and bushy growth, leaf yellowing, and drying of clumps were recorded at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India from 2016 to 2018. The disease incidence was recorded more in durum wheat genotypes as compared to bread wheat genotypes. The presence of any virus, bacterial, and fungal pathogens was ruled out by applying cultural growth and electron microscopy.
