The balanced-field electromagnetic technique is an effective in-line inspection method for pipeline cracks. To address the problem that the interference signal generated by the tilt jitter of the sensor during the detection process affects the judgment of cracks, this paper proposes a method to differentiate the crack detection signal from the sensor jitter signal by using an amplitude-phase composite figure. The generation principle of the detection signal was analyzed by using the mutual inductance model, and the amplitude-phase composite figure was constructed by using the components of the detection signal after quadrature demodulation. The feasibility of using the phase as a signal discrimination feature was illustrated by finite element simulations, and the characteristics of the amplitude-phase composite figure were determined. The validity of the proposed method was verified experimentally. The results show that the crack detection signal and the signal generated by the sensor jitter are of the same frequency with similar waveforms and significantly different phases. The phase base value of the crack detection signal ranges from 35° to 55°, and the phase base value of the jitter signal is -4°. In terms of the characteristics of the amplitude-phase composite figure, the crack detection signal distribution is symmetrical about the origin in the first and third quadrants, and the axial crack is closer to the -axis than the circumferential crack; the jitter signal is distributed in the second and fourth quadrants and has a very small angle to the -axis. In addition, the proposed method effectively weakens the observation of the phase noise region in the detection signal of the balanced-field electromagnetic technique.

Objectives: This study intended to explore whether the protective effect safflower yellow injection (SYI) on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats mediated of the NLRP3 inflammasome signaling.
Methods: The I/R model was prepared by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery for 45 min and then releasing the blood flow for 150 min. 96 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham group, I/R group, Hebeishuang group (HBS), SYI high-dose group (I/R + SYI-H), SYI medium-dose group (I/R + SYI-M) and SYI low-dose group (I/R + SYI-L).

Pembrolizumab plus Lenvatinib is regarded as a significant treatment option for advanced unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aims to meticulously monitor and identify adverse events (AEs) related to this combined therapy, enhance patient safety, and offer evidence-based recommendations for the appropriate use of these drugs. We gathered adverse drug reactions (ADRs)-related data from the FAERS database for HCC patients who received Pembrolizumab, both alone and in combination with Lenvatinib from the first quarter of 2014 to the fourth quarter of 2023.

Patients with metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma survive longer if disease spreads to the lung but not the liver. Here we generated overlapping, multi-omic datasets to identify molecular and cellular features that distinguish patients whose disease develops liver metastasis (liver cohort) from those whose disease develops lung metastasis without liver metastases (lung cohort). Lung cohort patients survived longer than liver cohort patients, despite sharing the same tumor subtype.

Human tumors are diverse in their natural history and response to treatment, which in part results from genetic and transcriptomic heterogeneity. In clinical practice, single-site needle biopsies are used to sample this diversity, but cancer biomarkers may be confounded by spatiogenomic heterogeneity within individual tumors. Here we investigate clonally expressed genes as a solution to the sampling bias problem by analyzing multiregion whole-exome and RNA sequencing data for 450 tumor regions from 184 patients with lung adenocarcinoma in the TRACERx study.

The characteristics of spontaneous movements in infants are essential for the early detection of neurological pathologies, with the Prechtl method being a widely recognized approach. While the Prechtl method is effective in predicting motor risks, its reliance on the evaluator's expertise limits its scalability, particularly in low-income areas. In such contexts, the use of inertial sensors combined with automated analysis presents a promising accessible alternative; however, more research is necessary to get results comparable to those of the Precht method.
