Breast cancer care requires both oncologists and plastic surgeons. Coordinating these specialists and combining extirpative and reconstructive procedures before adjunctive therapies can cause delays in care. For patients with less advanced disease, surgery is performed before adjunctive therapies, requiring early specialist coordination and the possibility of surgical complications.

Objective: The pattern, rate, and natural history of bone flap resorption following cranioplasty with frozen, autologous bone flap has not been fully defined. The authors sought to quantify the progression and natural history of bone flap resorption.
Methods: Patients who had craniectomy and delayed cranioplasty with stored, frozen bone flap between 2012 and 2022 were included in this study.

Background: Facial implants have emerged as pivotal tools for both reconstructive and aesthetic skull bone augmentation. Contemporary manufacturing techniques, such as computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) systems, have revolutionized facial implants production, providing the advantages of high-level individualization.
