The widespread use of pesticides, including diazinon, poses an increased risk of environmental pollution and detrimental effects on biodiversity, food security, and water resources. In this study, we investigated the impact of Potentially Toxic Elements (PTE) including Zn, Cd, V, and Mn on the degradation of diazinon in three different soils. We investigated the capability and performance of four machine learning models to predict residual pesticide concentration, including adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), support vector regression (SVR), radial basis function (RBF), and multi-layer perceptron (MLP).

In this study, we investigate the application of support vector machines utilizing a radial basis function kernel for predicting nuclear α-decay half-lives. Our approach integrates a comprehensive set of physics-derived features, including characteristics derived from nuclear structure, to systematically evaluate their impact on predictive accuracy. In addition to traditional parameters such as proton and neutron numbers, as well as terms based on the liquid drop model (e.

Introduction Paediatric forearm fractures are common, but isolated radial diaphyseal fractures are rare, representing a small subset. Unlike fractures involving both the radius and ulna, these fractures lack well-established management guidelines. The potential for alignment loss during treatment underscores the need for specific protocols.

Aim: This study aimed to explore the application effect of comfort nursing based on evidence-based concept in radial artery puncture hemostasis of patients after coronary intervention.

Methods: This interventional study included the clinical data of 180 patients who underwent percutaneous radial coronary intervention in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, from July 2024 to September 2024. All patients were treated with radial artery hemostasis device after operation.

Objective: Targeted transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (tTENS) is a non-invasive neural stimulation technique that involves activating sensory nerve fibers to elicit tactile sensations in a distal, or referred, location. Though tTENS is a promising approach for delivering haptic feedback in virtual reality or for use by those with somatosensory deficits, it was not known how the perception of tTENS might be influenced by changing wrist position during sensorimotor tasks.

Approach: We worked with 12 able-bodied individuals and delivered tTENS by placing electrodes on the wrist, thus targeting the ulnar, median, and radial nerves, and eliciting tactile sensations in the hand.
