Opinion 106 of the Judicial Commission has clarified the nomenclature of the taxon variously named , ' and . As a consequence, we present here the genus name and that of its nomenclatural type species, comb. nov., for valid publication and propose the reclassification of four rhodococcal species as novel combinations in the genus, namely Guo et al. 2015 comb. nov., Kämpfer . 2014 comb. nov., Li . 2015 comb. nov. and Lee . 2019 comb. nov. In addition, we note that a clinical isolate, strain 86-07 (=W8901), likely represents an additional species within the genus . Nearly a century after the original description of the type strain of the type species as , we provide a stable home for and its relatives.

Medicinal plants serve as vital resources for preventing and treating diseases, with their flowers, fruits, leaves, roots, or entire plants being utilized in the pharmaceutical industry or as direct therapeutic agents. During our investigation of microfungi associated with medicinal plants in Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces, China, several asexual and sexual fungal morphs were collected. Multi-locus phylogenetic analysis based on combined ITS, LSU, SSU and datasets revealed that these taxa are related to the family Dictyosporiaceae.

Four salt-tolerant and aromatics degrading strains used in this study were isolated from polluted technogenic soil on the territory of the Verkhnekamsk potash deposit (Russia). The strains were aerobic, Gram-stain-positive, non-motile, non-endospore-forming irregular rods, exhibiting a marked rod-coccus growth cycle. They contained lysine-based peptidoglycan, teichulosonic acid and poly(glycosyl phosphate) polymers in the cell walls.

The comb, as a secondary sexual characteristic in chickens, serves as an important indicator of sexual maturity and potential reproductive. This study explored the relationship between comb types and production performance in Tianfu G01 chickens. Single-comb hens exhibited significantly lower laying rates compared to rose-comb hens during specific weeks (24-26, 27-28, 30, 32-34, and 38-43) but had higher average egg weights at 22, 23, 33, and 36-43 weeks.

Monitoring the dynamic behaviors of self-aligning roller bearings (SABs) is vital to guarantee the stability of various mechanical systems. This study presents a novel self-powered, intelligent, and self-aligning roller bearing (I-SAB) with which to monitor rotational speeds and bias angles; it also has an application in fault diagnosis. The designed I-SAB is compactly embedded with a novel sweep-type triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG).
