On the conditioned defensive reflex model with a short-term delayed reinforcement during an acute experiment on cats it was shown that a single intravenous injection of haloperidol (0.75 mg/kg) leads to impairment of information selection due to changed spatial-temporary distribution of conditioned evoked potentials (CEP) being electro-graphical correlates of memory trace in the brain structures (acoustic cortex, zona incerta, central gray matter, amygdaloid complex, reticular formation, hippocamp and preoptic region) and also impairment of the conditioned neurographic response and conditioned skin-galvanic response. The observed spatial-temporary distribution of CEP under haloperidol medication is similar to the same distribution during latent inhibition.
