Unlabelled: Cancer biomarkers are measurable indicators that play vital roles in clinical applications. Biomarkers in body fluids have gained considerable attention since the development of liquid biopsy, and their data volume is rapidly increasing. Nevertheless, current research lacks the compilation of published cancer body fluid biomarkers into a centralized and sustainable repository for researchers and clinicians, despite a handful of small-scale and specific data resources. To fulfill this purpose, we developed liquid biomarker (LiqBioer) containing 6231 manually curated records from 3447 studies, covering 3056 biomarkers and 74 types of cancer in 22 tissues. LiqBioer allows users to browse and download comprehensive information on body liquid biomarkers, including cancer types, source studies and clinical usage. As a comprehensive resource for body fluid biomarkers of cancer, LiqBioer is a powerful tool for researchers and clinicians to query and retrieve biomarkers in liquid biopsy.

The tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs) are a new class of non coding RNAs, which are stable in body fluids and can be used as potential biomarkers for disease diagnosis. However, the exact value of tsRNAs in the diagnosis of tuberculosis (TB) is still unclear. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the performance of the serum tsRNAs biosignature to distinguish between active TB, healthy controls, latent TB infection, and other respiratory diseases.

We have attempted to provide an evidence-based medicine protocol for the conservative treatment of KOA. Researchers collected and compared randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that used microfragmented adipose tissue and platelet-rich plasma to treat knee osteoarthritis.

Metabolic diseases affect a consistent part of the human population, leading to rising mortality rates. This raises the need for diagnostic tools to monitor the progress of these diseases. Lately, circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) has emerged as a promising biomarker for various metabolic diseases, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease.

Bone is one of the hardest tissues in the human body, but it can undergo microcracks under long-term and periodic mechanical loads. The Newton iterative method was used to calculate the steady state, and the effects of different inlet and outlet pressures, trabecular gap width and height, and microcrack's depth and width on the fluid shear stress (FSS) were studied, and the gradient of FSS inside the microcrack was analyzed. The results show that the pressure difference and trabecular gap heigh are positively correlated with the FSS (the linear correlation coefficients were 0.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the biofilm formation abilities of clinical strains, assess their antibiotic susceptibility patterns, and identify the prevalence of adhesion-associated genes.
Methodology: In this study, a total of 60 strains were collected from urine, pus, wounds, blood, body fluid, and sputum in health centers affiliated with Abadan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Strains were identified via microbiological methods and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to target the gene.
