Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) remains experimental for many psychiatric disorders in adults. Particularly in childhood, there is limited research on the evidence for the efficacy and mechanisms of action of tDCS on the developing brain. The objective of this review is to identify published experimental studies to examine the efficacy and mechanisms of tDCS in children with psychiatric or developmental disorders in early (prepubertal) childhood (aged under 10 years).

Aim: To understand the extent and type of evidence in relation to the effectiveness of intervention strategies targeting working pregnant women, and their partners, for the prevention of mental health problems (depression, anxiety) and improving resilience, from conception until the child is 5 years of age.
Methods: A scoping review was conducted searching Pubmed (including Medline), Embase, Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus. Inclusion criteria were based on population (employed parents), context (from -9 months to 5 years postpartum) and concept (mental health problems, resilience and prevention/ preventative interventions).

Hepatitis B elimination objectives can only be realised if new patient linkage to care is matched by long-term patient retention in care. We previously showed in adult chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients that retention in care was inferior in younger patients and in patients from non-Asian ethnicities. The present study explores further the rates and determinants of loss to follow-up in a cohort of 271 young patients (aged 16-21 years at baseline).
