Despite decades of experience with ECT, no single agent has emerged as a suitable strategy to mitigate the associated neuro-cognitive deficits. In this first of its kind pilot randomised controlled trial, we sought to demonstrate the effect of yoga on neurocognitive deficits. We found a favourable effect of Yoga in the domain of verbal fluency, however our study did not reveal significant differences in other cognitive domains. Future studies could look to build on this study while addressing the limitations cited.

Background: There is a lack of clinical evidence on the efficacy and safety of transitioning from a thrice-daily pre-mixed insulin or basal-prandial regimen to insulin deglu-dec/aspart (IDegAsp) therapy, with insufficient data from the Chinese popu-lation.
Aim: To demonstrate the efficacy, safety, and treatment satisfaction associated with the transition to IDegAsp in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
Methods: In this 12-week open-label, non-randomized, single-center, pilot study, patients with T2DM receiving thrice-daily insulin or intensive insulin treatment were transitioned to twice-daily injections of insulin IDegAsp.

Despite advances in blood pressure management, significant racial and ethnic disparities persist, resulting in higher risks of stroke, heart disease, and mortality among non-White populations. Self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) monitoring, also known as home blood pressure monitoring, has shown promise in improving blood pressure control, especially when combined with feedback from healthcare providers.
