Accurately estimating the human inner-body under clothing is very important for body measurement, virtual try-on and VR/AR applications. In this article, we propose the first method to allow everyone to easily reconstruct their own 3D inner-body under daily clothing from a self-captured video with the mean reconstruction error of 0.73cm within 15s. This avoids privacy concerns arising from nudity or minimal clothing. Specifically, we propose a novel two-stage framework with a Semantic-guided Undressing Network (SUNet) and an Intra-Inter Transformer Network (IITNet). SUNet learns semantically related body features to alleviate the complexity and uncertainty of directly estimating 3D inner-bodies under clothing. IITNet reconstructs the 3D inner-body model by making full use of intra-frame and inter-frame information, which addresses the misalignment of inconsistent poses in different frames. Experimental results on both public datasets and our collected dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The code and dataset is available for research purposes at http://cic.tju.edu.cn/faculty/likun/projects/Inner-Body.

Full-body 3D scanning simplifies the acquisition of digital body models. However, current systems are bulky, intricate, and costly, with strict clothing constraints. We propose a pipeline that combines inner body shape inference and parametric model registration for reconstructing the corresponding body model from a single front scan of a clothed body.

The aim of this article is to explore bodily changes following weight loss surgery. Our empirical material is based on individual interviews with 22 Norwegian women. To further analyze their experiences, we build primarily on the phenomenologist Drew Leder`s distinction between bodily dis-appearance and dys-appearance.

In order to fit human body, flexibility, or even better stretchability is requested for biomedical systems like implants or smart clothes. A stretchable electronic technology has been developed. This can provide highly stretchable interconnections fully compatible with PCB technologies.

Context: There has been little research on body therapy for women in sexual abuse recovery. This study examines body-oriented therapy--an approach focused on body awareness and involving the combination of bodywork and the emotional processing of psychotherapy.
Objective: To examine the efficacy and the perceived influence on abuse recovery of body-oriented therapy.
