The pandemic has accelerated e-commerce adoption for both consumers and sellers. This study aims to identify factors critical to the adoption of electronic markets (EM) during the pandemic, from the perspective of small sellers in non-metro cities. The research design utilizes core dimensions of the UTAUT model and selected constructs from protection motivation theory; since business closure vulnerability also triggers electronic market adoption. A questionnaire survey method was used to collect data from 150 sellers from tier-II/III cities of India. Study results identified performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and perceived vulnerability as significant determinants of behavioural intention towards adoption of EM. The findings also explain the moderating impact of sellers' awareness of information technology and merchants' age on behavioural outcomes. Given the growing demands from such cities, the research offers insights for marketers to understand the bottlenecks and ways to motivate small sellers to get associated with EMs.

The presence of N-nitrosamine impurities in pharmaceutical products is well known. In 2019, it resulted in drug recall by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Soon, several groups identified the presence of many N-nitrosamines (NAs) in various Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and drug formulations worldwide.

Decoupling economic growth and carbon emissions is essential to a sustainable high-quality development. As a small unit of the engine of development, more research has begun to focus on city-level issues. In order to fill the gaps in the decoupling research at the city level covering the whole nationwide, this paper applied the bottom-up method to calculate 282 cities' carbon emissions according to China's city-level panel data of terminal energy consumption, and combined Tapio decoupling with LMDI decomposition model to analyze cities' decoupling status and its driving factors.

Hypoxia tolerance and its variation with temperature, activity, and body mass, are critical ecophysiological traits through which climate impacts marine ectotherms. To date, experimental determination of these traits is limited to a small subset of modern species. We leverage the close coupling of carbon and oxygen in animal metabolism to mechanistically relate these traits to the carbon isotopes in fish otoliths (δC).

Gene therapy has evolved into a pivotal approach for treating genetic disorders, extending beyond traditional methods of directly repairing or replacing defective genes. Recent advancements in nucleic acid-based therapies-including mRNA, miRNA, siRNA, and DNA treatments have expanded the scope of gene therapy to include strategies that modulate protein expression and deliver functional genetic material without altering the genetic sequence itself. This review focuses on the innovative use of plant-derived nanovesicles (PDNVs) as a promising delivery system for these nucleic acids.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play a significant role in tumor progression, and regulating miRNA expression with small molecules may offer a new approach to cancer therapy. Among them, miRNA-20b has been found to be dysregulated in several cancers, including nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Herein, an in silico high-throughput computer screen was conducted to identify small molecules that downregulate miR-20b using the three-dimensional structure of the Dicer binding site on pre-miR-20b.
