Oculomotor nerve palsy following head trauma can cause eye movement disorders and severe visual problems, but it was considered to have a poor prognosis with a wide range of interventions in the past. However, we performed neuroanastomosis in a patient with isolated oculomotor nerve injury and obtained a satisfactory long-term recovery, although the short-term effect was not obvious. The clinical presentation, surgical management, and functional rehabilitation of this patient are discussed.

We examined whether persons with a sport-related concussion (SRC) derive a postexercise executive function (EF) benefit, and whether a putative benefit is related to an exercise-mediated increase in cerebral blood flow (CBF). Participants with an SRC completed the Buffalo Concussion Bike Test to determine the heart rate threshold (HRt) associated with symptom exacerbation and/or voluntary exhaustion. On a separate day, SRC participants - and healthy controls (HC group) - completed 20-min of aerobic exercise at 80% HRt while middle cerebral artery velocity (MCAv) was measured to estimate CBF.

Background: In pediatric mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), high rates of abnormalities are observed in vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) and oculomotor (OM) function, but there is a lack of understanding of how these impairments may affect daily functioning.

Objectives: To determine the extent to which clinician-administered measures of VOR and OM function are associated with patient-reported levels of activity limitations and participation restriction in children and adolescents within 31 days post-mTBI.

Design: Cross-sectional design.

Background: Traumatic intracranial aneurysms (TICAs) can be fatal if ruptured. We report a case of a TICA, distant from facial bone fractures, successfully treated with flow diverter (FD) before rupture.

Case Presentation: A 20-year-old woman was admitted following a car accident.
