While immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized modern oncology, they are also associated with immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Previous histopathological descriptions of organ-related inflammatory changes do not consider systemic effects of ICIs, because of an absence of comprehensive autopsy studies. We performed a retrospective study on 42 whole-body autopsies of patients treated with ICIs from January 2011 to March 2024 to determine frequency, organ distribution and morphology of ICIs-associated inflammatory changes as well as their clinical relevance.

Background: For the initial staging of breast cancer (BC), 18FDG PET/CT is recommended by professional guidelines in stage III (except T3N1) and inflammatory BC (T4d) and optional when conventional imaging is equivocal or suspicious. However, growing evidence also supports its role in the staging of intermediate-risk groups (IIA, IIB, T3N1 of IA). This study aimed to compare the impact of 18FDG PET/CT with conventional imaging (CT-chest+abdomen+pelvis and bone scan; CT-CAP+BS) in staging, cost-effectiveness, and radiation exposure in the initial staging of BC.

Background: Indocyanine green fluorescence angiography (ICGFA) is gaining popularity for the assessment of reconstructive flap perfusion intraoperatively. This study analyses the literature with a focus on its clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness across various plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines on published studies in English comparing ICGFA with standard clinical assessment for flap perfusion.

Background: Movement clinical neurophysiology studies can distinguish myoclonus, tremor, and other jerky movements; however, there has been limited demonstration of their real-world clinical impact.
Objective: The aim was to investigate movement study utility in clarifying movement classification and guiding patient management.
Method: A retrospective study of myoclonus-related movement studies was performed.
