Epilepsy is a neurological disorder affecting millions of people worldwide. Antiseizure medications (ASM) remain a critical therapeutic intervention for treating epilepsy, notwithstanding the rapid development of other therapies. There have been substantial advances in epilepsy medications over the past three decades, with over 20 ASMs now available commercially.

Assessment of the tumor immune microenvironment can be used as a prognostic tool for improved survival and as a predictive biomarker for treatment benefit, particularly from immune modulating treatments including cytotoxic chemotherapy. Using Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP), we studied the tumor immune microenvironment of 522 breast cancer cases by quantifying 35 immune biomarkers on tissue microarrays from the MA.5 phase III clinical trial.

Introduction: The technical development of ultrasound devices based on silicon chips has revolutionized ultrasound examinations, leading to the implementation of these portable handheld devices (PUD) in different medical fields. However, training on these devices is necessary to assure appropriate use and ensure valid results. While training programs for the use of conventional standard ultrasound devices (SUD) have been described, no training program for these handheld devices has been developed thus far.

Background: There is very little information available about the health status of young stallions from the German Warmblood population that will, once licensed, shape the future of equestrian sport and horse breeding.
Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence of clinical findings at licensing examinations of candidate stallions and the influences of season of birth, age at licensing, year of licensing, and the evaluator on the distribution of recorded findings.
Study Design: Retrospective observational study.
