In this paper, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are prepared by solvothermal synthesis using 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxaldehyde and benzidine as ligands. Then, using COFs as a template, AgCOFs with high catalytic activity is prepared by in situ loading silver nanoparticles (AgNC) on the surface of COFs by sodium borohydride reduction method. AgCOFs are characterized by TEM, SEM, FTIR and XRD. At the same time, the catalytic ability of AgCOFs for trisodium citrate-AgNO nanosilver reaction is studied. The results show that AgCOFs can catalyze the reaction of trisodium citrate-AgNO to generate silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The solution color of the system gradually changes from colorless to yellow, and the absorbance value increases. Based on the catalytic reaction of AgCOFs and the regulation effect of nucleic acid aptamer reaction on AgCOFs, a new "on-off-on" colorimetric analysis platform is constructed and applied to the detection of trace Pb in water samples. This analytical platform is simple, sensitive and selective. Finally, the catalytic mechanism of the system is discussed to verify the feasibility of constructing a colorimetric analysis platform.

Construction of metal-organic cages (MOCs) with internal modifications is a promising avenue to build enzyme-like cavities and unlocking the mystery of highly catalytic activity and selectivity of enzymes. However, current interests are mainly focused on single-metal-node cages, little achievement has been expended to metalloclusters-based architectures, and the in situ endogenous generation of metal clusters. Herein, based on the hard-soft-acids-bases (HSAB), the metalloclusters-based heterometallic MOC (Cu3VMOP) constructed of [Cu3OPz3]+ and [V6O6(OCH3)9(SO4)(CO2)3]2- clusters was obtained by one-pot method.

Copper-based sulfides are attractive candidates for NIR I and II responsive photothermal therapy but often suffer from high hydrophobicity, suboptimal photothermal conversion, and poor biostability and biocompatibility. In the present work, a rapid, one-pot synthesis method was developed to obtain Au-doped CuS (ACSH NDs) dual plasmonic nanodots. ACSH NDs exhibit excellent peroxidase-like catalytic activity for pH-responsive OH radical generation along with efficient glutathione depletion under tumor microenvironment mimicking conditions.

We report a scalable method based on continuous-flow reactors for conformally coating the surfaces of facet-controlled Pd nanocrystals with uniform, ultrathin shells made of Pt. The key to the success of such an approach is the identification of a proper polyol to generate the Pt atoms at a relatively slow rate to ensure adequate surface diffusion and thus the formation of uniform shells in a layer-by-layer fashion. We first demonstrate the concept using the production of Pd@Pt (n = 2-5) core-shell icosahedral nanocrystals and then have the strategy successfully extended to the syntheses of Pd@Pt cubic and octahedral nanocrystals.

Facilitating rapid charge transfer in electrode materials necessitates the optimization of their ionic transport properties. Currently, only a limited number of Li/Na-ion organic cathode materials have been identified, and those exhibiting intrinsic solid-phase ionic conductivity are even rarer. In this study, we present tetra-lithium and sodium salts with the generic formulae: A-Ph-CHP and A-Ph-PhP, wherein A = Li, Na; Ph-CHP = 2,5-dioxido-1,4-phenylene bis(methylphosphinate); Ph-PhP = 2,5-dioxido-1,4-phenylene bis(phenylphosphinate), as novel alkali-ion reservoir cathode materials.
