is an important aphid pest of lettuce, but basic information on its biology is scarce. In this study, effects of three constant temperatures (17, 21, and 25 °C, simulating the mean temperature range in greenhouses) on the development and fecundity of were analyzed by constructing a life table. could develop and reproduce under all three temperatures, but the survival rate, development, and fecundity of were affected by temperature. The intrinsic rate of increase was lowest at 17 °C (0.17) and it was significantly less than at 21 °C (0.20) and 25 °C (0.23). Furthermore, had the lowest finite rate of increase (1.19) and the largest mean generation time (20.21) at 17 °C. These results mean that is less adapted to the lower temperatures (17 °C) among these three set temperatures. To screen insecticides for control, susceptibility of to six insecticides including chlorpyrifos, abamectin, beta-cypermethrin, imidacloprid, nitenpyram, and thiamethoxam was evaluated. was relatively sensitive to all six test insecticides. Chlorpyrifos had the highest toxicity to (LC = 3.08 mg/L). These data may help to develop integrated management strategies for better population control of

This study discusses disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) associated with solid cancers and various vascular abnormalities, both of which generally exhibit chronic DIC patterns. Solid cancers are among the most significant underlying diseases that induce DIC. However, the severity, bleeding tendency, and progression of DIC vary considerably depending on the type and stage of the cancer, making generalization difficult.

Background: The Japanese giant silkworm (JGS) Caligula japonica is a significant defoliator pest in East Asia, causing severe economic losses in forest and fruit production. To establish a cost-effective biological control program against JGS, the age-stage, two-sex life table method was used to accurately assess the potential efficacy of two Mesocomys species (M. albitarsis and M.

4P medicine (personalized, preventive, predictive, and participatory) is experiencing a remarkable rise, and pharmacogenetics is an essential part of it. However, several obstacles are hindering its deployment. This round table brought together a group of experts to take stock of the situation, reflecting on ways to facilitate the prescription of these tests and the dissemination of the results on a national scale.

To compare pain characteristics, impact of pain and characteristics of patients with painful root-filled teeth with and without signs of inflammatory dental disease. This cross-sectional study was performed in the Public Dental Health services, Region Örebro County, Sweden. Adult patients with ≥1 root-filled tooth identified at their regular check-up were included and assigned to one of two groups; those with ≥1 sign of inflammatory dental disease (DD+) and those without any such sign (DD-).

Objectives: To form a unique body weight support-Tai Chi Yunshou (BWS-TCY) training method, apply it to the treatment of upper limb dysfunction after stroke, and provide a new safe and effective treatment method for the clinic.
Methods: A total of 93 subjects were recruited and randomly divided into conventional rehabilitation treatment (CRT) group, BWS-TCY group and traditional robot-assisted training (RAT) group in equal proportions. Subjects in the CRT group received 60 minutes of CRT daily.
