Background: Malone antegrade continence enemas (MACE) are increasingly being used to manage severe constipation and fecal incontinence in children. Despite advances in minimally invasive pediatric colorectal surgery, single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) for MACE creation remains relatively unexplored. This study, featuring the largest cohort to date, evaluates the feasibility, safety, and clinical outcomes of SILS MACE creation in children.

Mid urethral sling (MUS) surgery is a widely accepted and safe procedure performed for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) with excellent cure rate besides its minimal complications. There are various types of MUS which can be offered. In this review we collated published data on MUS surgery performed among Taiwanese women with SUI in search for the best techniques and its outcome.

Background: Ptosis surgery is common in oculoplastics, and its most threatening complication is corneal ulceration. Several factors have been associated with postoperative corneal disorders, such as the strength of the orbicularis muscle, the type of surgery performed, and the Bell's phenomenon reflex (BPR). The goal of this study was to investigate the prevalence of physiological BPR, absence of BPR, and presence of inverse BP in patients undergoing surgery for aponeurotic ptosis.
