They often have complex health and social needs and may experience fragmentation in the delivery of services. The Respond Integrated Refugee Health Service, hosted by University College London Hospital and operating across North Central London, has been created to address some of these challenges.

Screening and response for intimate partner violence (IPV) is recommended for women in priority populations and is implemented in health services across diverse jurisdictions. Most women experiencing IPV strongly support screening, however this is untested with refugee women in resettlement contexts. Around one third of refugee women in Australia experience IPV and face multiple post-migration challenges.

The suggested MH benefits of LTPA may present a promising avenue to promote the MH of immigrants/refugees, who often face various stressors that may impede their MH. Background: Forcibly displaced women in the Netherlands face increased chances of perinatal mortality and other adverse pregnancy and childbirth outcomes compared to the resident country population, which has been linked to suboptimal care. This study was conducted to gain insights from the experiences of Dutch midwives to inform and enhance the provision of tailored and equitable care for forcibly displaced women.
Methods: We conducted a qualitative study using semistructured interviews with community midwives who provide care for forcibly displaced women (asylum seekers and recognized refugees) in the Netherlands.
