Summary: Beacon v2 is an API specification established by the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health initiative (GA4GH) that defines a standard for federated discovery of genomic and phenotypic data. Here, we present the Beacon v2 Reference Implementation (B2RI), a set of open-source software tools that allow lighting up a local Beacon instance 'out-of-the-box'. Along with the software, we have created detailed 'Read the Docs' documentation that includes information on deployment and installation.
Availability And Implementation: The B2RI is released under GNU General Public License v3.0 and Apache License v2.0. Documentation and source code is available at: https://b2ri-documentation.readthedocs.io.
Supplementary Information: Supplementary data are available at Bioinformatics online.

seeds are known for their high oil content, and the oil extracted from these seeds has been traditionally utilized in biodiesel production. The presence of toxic compounds, specifically phorbol esters (PEs), in seed oil (JCSO) has blocked its use for human consumption. This article presents a thorough literature review that summarizes the latest research on the toxicological effects, including acute toxicity, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, and chronic toxicity associated with phorbol esters (JCPEs).

Localization of unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) in indoor scenarios and GNSS-denied environments is a difficult problem, particularly in dynamic scenarios where traditional on-board equipment (such as LiDAR, radar, sonar, camera) may fail. In the framework of autonomous UAS missions, precise feedback on real-time aircraft position is very important, and several technologies alternative to GNSS-based approaches for UAS positioning in indoor navigation have been recently explored. In this paper, we propose a low-cost IPS for UAVs, based on Bluetooth low energy (BLE) beacons, which exploits the (received signal strength indicator) for distance estimation and positioning.

Photoreceptor transplantation is a potential therapeutic strategy for degenerative retinal diseases. Studies on mechanisms contributing to retinal regeneration and vision repair identified cellular components transfer (CCT) as playing a role, in addition to somatic augmentation (referred to as "cell replacement" in this paper). In CCT, donor photoreceptors shuttle proteins, RNA, and mitochondria to host photoreceptors through intercellular connections.

: To evaluate the clinical performance of two optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) devices, including a semi-automated device, with respect to image quality and pathology detection, with fluorescein angiography (FA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) serving as the reference standards. : In this prospective cross-sectional study, normal eyes and those with various retinal and choroidal pathologies were enrolled and underwent OCTA scanning using semi-automated 3D OCT-1 Maestro2 and Cirrus™ HD-OCT 5000 devices, as well as FA/ICGA imaging. OCTA scans and FA/ICGA images were independently graded for image quality and the visibility of prespecified anatomic vascular features, along with the presence or absence of pathology on the OCTA scans and the FA/ICGA images (within regions corresponding to the OCTA scan areas).

Background: Psychological difficulties are prevalent in patients undergoing Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR). Recent guidelines recommend that practitioners inquire and address patients' psychological concerns during CR. Therefore, Study One aimed to explore practitioners' understanding of patients' psychological needs, their confidence in supporting those needs, and their views on whether current CR meets patients' needs.
