Background: Brugada syndrome (BrS) is an inherited channelopathy characterized by right precordial ST-segment elevation. This study investigates the clinical and genetic characteristics of children with BrS in Hong Kong.
Methods: A retrospective review was conducted at the only tertiary pediatric cardiology center in Hong Kong from 2002 to 2022, including all pediatric BrS patients under 18 years old.

Objective: To identify the incidence and prevalence of type 1 Brugada pattern at Mayo Clinic during 30 years.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records from 1992 to 2021 at Mayo Clinic Enterprise. Patients with type 1 Brugada pattern electrocardiogram (ECG) were identified by a systematic keyword search.

Introduction: Patients with Brugada syndrome (BrS) face an increased risk of ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. Implantable cardiac monitors (ICMs) have emerged as effective tools for detecting arrhythmias in BrS. Technological advancements, including temperature sensors and improved subcutaneous electrocardiogram (subECG) signal quality, hold promise for further enhancing their utility in this population.

Background: Brugada syndrome (BrS) is causing sudden cardiac death (SCD) mainly at young age. Studying the underlying mechanisms associated with BrS type I electrocardiogram (ECG) changes in the presence of fever and roles of autophagy for BrS remains lacking.
Objectives: We sought to study the pathogenic role of an SCN5A gene variant for BrS with fever-induced type 1 ECG phenotype.
