Objective: This study aims to explore the analgesic effects and safety of periarticular injections of methylene blue (MB) combined with a cocktail formulation following total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
Methods: A total of 70 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were selected and divided into two groups based on the cocktail formula used for periarticular infiltration, including the methylene blue group (M group, n = 35) and the control group (C group, n = 35). Both groups underwent spinal anesthesia.

Background: Liposomal bupivacaine (LB) is a relatively novel anesthetic agent used in the management of postoperative pain in patients who have undergone shoulder surgery.
Purpose: To explore the literature on LB in the setting of shoulder surgery and assess its efficacy and utility in managing postoperative pain.
Study Design: Systematic review and meta-analysis; Level of evidence, 1.
Multimodal analgesia and anesthesia have become the gold standard in total joint arthroplasty to reduce postoperative pain and opioid consumption and minimize complications associated with opioid use. There are several elements in an effective multimodal protocol, including oral medications, periarticular injection, regional nerve blocks, and spinal and general anesthesia. Many nonopioid medications are often used, such as acetaminophen and NSAIDs.

Background: Viscosupplementation consists of intraarticular hyaluronic acid injections applied to treat pain and improve joint mobility. The objective of the study was to analyze the improvement of the range of mobility of the first metatarsophalangeal joint with a single dose of cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
Methods: Ten fresh frozen specimens of feet sectioned below the knee were selected.
