Enthesitis related arthritis (ERA) is a specific type of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and ERA typically begins with enthesitis and peripheral arthritis in the lower extremities, progressing later in the disease to sacroiliitis and spinal involvement. The condition has a strong relationship with the HLA-B27 and primarily affects boys between the ages of 13 and 16 years. We describe an unusual presentation of ERA in a young boy with pubic pain and fever, describing its quintessential magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.

Background: The underlying pathophysiology of some occupational diseases such as silicosis involves autoantibodies. An autoantibody, antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA), has been recently reported and is known to be elevated in diseases such as vasculitis; therefore, the disease is currently known as ANCA-associated vasculitis. The risk of ANCA-associated vasculitis is known to be 25 times higher in patients with silicosis than in those without any occupational disease.

Background: In vivo T-cell depletion with antithymocyte globulin (ATG), especially at high-doses has been shown to be associated with increased incidence of infections after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). However, it remains unclear whether ATG, even at low-doses increases the risk of posttransplant infections in the high-risk HSCT setting.
Patients And Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective study of viral and fungal infections early after transplantation, using the data from 82 patients with hematological malignancies.

Purpose: Currently, there is no clinical data reported on the therapy of dual biological agents in pediatric-onset inflammatory bowel disease (PIBD) patients in China. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of dual biologic therapy or biologics combined with small molecule drugs in refractory PIBD patients in China.
Methods: Clinical, laboratory, endoscopic, and ultrasound data of PIBD patients from the Department of Gastroenterology of Beijing Children's Hospital between January 2021 and October 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.

Background: B cell immune dysregulation plays a critical role in myasthenia gravis (MG). However, targeted B-cell therapy such as rituximab may result in long-term peripheral B cell clearance and allow for the survival of plasma cells, contributing to frequent infections and relapses. Therefore, we aimed to identify potential novel therapeutic targets that preserve part of B cell function while inhibiting antibody-secreting cells (ASCs).
