AI Article Synopsis

  • Four metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) were identified from the South Atlantic Ocean.
  • The genomes varied in size, ranging from 4.86 to 5.46 million base pairs (Mbp).
  • These genomes show potential for producing secondary metabolites, which can help researchers study the functions of this specific group of microorganisms.

Article Abstract

We present four metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) from the South Atlantic Ocean. The medium-quality genomes, affiliated with the family of ranged from 4.86 to 5.46 Mbp and harbored the genetic capacity to produce secondary metabolites. This resource provides a basis for investigating the functional attributes of this phylum.
