Objectives: To evaluate whether unilateral functional posterior crossbite in growing children creates an asymmetry in masseter muscle thickness and whether this asymmetry is normalized after crossbite correction.
Materials And Methods: Two groups of growing individuals were studied prospectively: (i) a treatment group: children with unilateral functional posterior crossbite, undergoing crossbite correction with maxillary expansion; and (ii) a control group: children without transversal malocclusions and orthodontic treatment. The thickness of the masseter muscles was measured bilaterally using ultrasonographic recordings at three time points: pre-treatment (T0); 9 months after (T1); and 30 months after posterior crossbite correction (T2); and at equivalent time points in the control group.

Background: Unilateral pulmonary artery discontinuity (UPAD) is a rare fetal abnormality, for which a prenatal ultrasonographic diagnosis remains challenging. We report a case of left pulmonary artery discontinuity in association with Taussig-Bing syndrome, which has rarely been reported in the literature thus far.
Case Presentation: A pregnant woman with a fetus with congenital heart disease (CHD) at 23 weeks gestation was referred to our center.

Background: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsy (VABB) is an increasingly requested procedure, but it implies training and experience both in its execution and in determining radiological-pathological concordance and is therefore performed in dedicated breast centers. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the diagnostic performance of MRI-guided vacuum-assisted biopsy and to determine the upgrade rate after surgery or follow-up.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated all consecutive patients with suspicious MRI findings without corresponding mammographic and ultrasonographic findings who underwent MRI-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsy (VABB) at our Institution from November 2020 to March 2023.

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to assess if uterine adenomyosis impacts live birth rate per euploid embryo transfer. The secondary objectives included addressing obstetric and perinatal outcomes in the study group.
Methods: This was a multicenter and retrospective cohort study in which 228 patients diagnosed with adenomyosis undergoing single euploid embryo transfer between 2016 and June 2023 were included and matched on 1:1 ratio to control patients without ultrasonographic diagnostic criteria for adenomyosis.

Background: Baraitser-Winter syndrome (BWS) is rare, and no previous reports have described the visual course of patients with this condition. Herein, we report the long-term visual outcomes and ocular features of a 6-year-old patient diagnosed with BWS.
Case Presentation: A 6-year-old female patient visited our clinic complaining of low vision.
