Forehead osteomas are benign tumors commonly excised for cosmetic and functional reasons. However, removing osteomas from the anterior table of the frontal sinus presents specific challenges, particularly in determining the appropriate removal thickness. Inaccurate resection depth may result in fracture or perforation of the anterior table of the frontal sinus, or incomplete resection.

Despite this, there are limited resources available for simulation training for practitioners prior to facing real-life patients. Typically, citrus peels or porcine skin are employed in a vain attempt to improve debridement proficiency, yet these fail to provide a realistic experience of the textures and consistencies of wounds.

Background: The importance of the subscapularis for reverse total shoulder arthroplasty has been demonstrated, especially for internal rotation and stability. In a deltopectoral approach, a detachment of the subscapularis is performed (tenotomy, tuberosity peeling, or osteotomy), but the tendon is not always repairable at the end. When it is repaired, healing is obtained in only 40%-76% of the cases, with potential consequences for the outcomes.
