The Sister Mary Joseph nodule is a metastatic umbilical lesion that is seen in 1%-3% of intra-abdominal and pelvic malignancies. Cutaneous metastasis of visceral malignancies is rare and has characteristic dermal or subcutaneous involvement on histopathologic examination. Epidermotropism is described as the migration of malignant cells into the epidermis and is an unusual finding in intra-abdominal malignancies and cutaneous metastases. An 81-year-old woman with a past medical history of colorectal adenocarcinoma presented to the dermatology clinic for evaluation of an enlarging, denuded umbilical mass. A tangential biopsy was obtained and sent for histopathologic examination. Histopathologic analysis demonstrated infiltration of atypical, pleomorphic cells in the dermis with spread into the epidermis, consistent with epidermotropism. An immunohistochemical panel was performed and was consistent with cutaneous metastasis of the patient's underlying adenocarcinoma. We present a case of epidermotropic cutaneous metastasis of colorectal adenocarcinoma presenting as a Sister Mary Joseph nodule, an extremely rare occurrence that has not been well-documented in the literature.

Introduction: While male breast carcinoma is a relatively uncommon occurrence, its incidence is on the rise, potentially attributed to sporadic pathophysiological mechanisms, primarily involving hormonal imbalances. Invasive apocrine carcinoma represents a small fraction of global breast malignancies, with limited instances reported among male patients in the literature. The clinical presentation of an apocrine breast carcinoma closely resembles that of other breast cancer subtypes, as it is most often described as a solitary ulcerative nodular lesion occupying a retro-areolar region of the breast.

Background: Cutaneous melanoma is the leading cause of death from cutaneous malignancy and tends to metastasize lymphatically and hematogenously to the lung, liver, brain, and bone; it is a rare source of metastatic disease to the eye. Herein we provide a case report of cutaneous melanoma metastatic to the ciliary body and choroid involving clinical examination, slit lamp photography, and B-scan ultrasonography.
Result: A 55-year-old female with known metastatic cutaneous melanoma presented with pain, a large ciliochoroidal mass, visual decline, and diffuse intraocular inflammation.

Early-stage cutaneous melanoma patients generally have a favorable prognosis, yet a significant proportion of metastatic melanoma cases arise from this group, highlighting the need for improved risk stratification using novel prognostic biomarkers. The Dutch Early-Stage Melanoma (D-ESMEL) study introduces a robust, population-based methodology to develop an absolute risk prediction model for stage I/II melanoma, incorporating clinical, imaging, and multi-omics data to identify patients at increased risk for distant metastases. Utilizing the Netherlands Cancer Registry and Dutch Nationwide Pathology Databank, we collected primary tumor samples from early-stage melanoma patients, with and without distant metastases during follow-up.

A 16-year-old castrated male domestic medium-hair cat was referred for examination of multiple cutaneous mast cell tumors displaying epitheliotropism. Staging tests were negative for distant metastasis. Toceranib phosphate therapy was initiated.
